This course is designed to help students understand the importance of having an online presence and the importance of maintaining an online reputation. The goal is to develop the skills and strategies necessary to be an ethical user of the Internet and to create a network environment in which ethical discussions are a normal part of daily life. This course will include scenarios about online ethics and Internet use and how they relate to education and academic etiquette. Unfortunately, educators don’t always teach these basic rules of etiquette to their students, as it’s an obvious lesson that is difficult to implement in today’s world. They are becoming increasingly involved in all aspects of the eLearning industry and are becoming more familiar with academic ethics and their online use.
